While working in a federal Department of Defense think tank, I had the opportunity to help research for a piece about the Belt & Road Initiative. Each author brought a research associate to the team: while I was brought onboard by Manpreet S. Anand, the other research associate--Moira Fagan--was brought on by Daniel Kliman.
